The Cincinnati Bearcats passed for a total of 69 yards in their 20-17 loss against the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Thursday, August 28th.
Brendan Sorsby completed 13 of his 25 passing attempts, 52% of his passes being caught. The Bearcats' "transfer trio" of wide receivers caught 7 passes for 51 yards, 5 of those receptions and 41 of those yards coming from Cyrus Allen, a transfer from Texas A&M.
The Bearcats' standout tight end, Joe Royer, caught 3 passes for 11 yards, something that definitely needs to be improved upon.
Sorsby seemed to be a little bit too reliant on his legs at times, rushing for 96 yards on 13 carries, finding the end zone twice.
