WALNUT HILLS - Taking on some of the best teams in the area all season, Roger Bacon High School's girls basketball squad hopes to benefit from the lessons learned to advance in the Ohio Division II tournament.
Champions of the Greater Catholic League-Coed for the past two seasons and sectional champs in 2018 and 2019, the Lady Spartans moved on to another sectional title game at Walnut Hills Feb. 24 against Taylor, the No. 6 seed. The Yellowjackets defeated McNicholas 43-40 Feb. 18.
The top-seeded Lady Spartans made easy work of Woodward Tuesday winning 63-26.
