Former Tennessee and UC Bearcats head coach Butch Jones is earning $35,000 per year in his role as an analyst for Alabama.
Jones' salary was released Thursday in response to a records request by USA TODAY Network - Tennessee.
Earlier this month, Alabama head coach Nick Saban would not confirm that Jones had been hired by the Crimson Tide - though Jones was spotted in a photo Tweeted by ESPN SEC Network anchor Peter Burns wearing Alabama gear while talking to New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick at Alabama's Pro Day.
