Since Scott Satterfield took over as head coach of the University of Cincinnati Bearcats last December, four teams have officially joined the Big 12 press conference, four more will join in 2024 when two others depart. As football coaches are knowns to say, "Keep your head on a swivel!".
Satterfield has been part of conference jockeying before and is interested, but not surprised.
"Nothing surprises me in college football anymore," he said. "A long time ago, people talked about moving up. At App (Appalachian) State we moved from Division I-AA/FCS to the Sun Belt. Now, we're moving in this (Big 12) conference.
