The Cincinnati Bearcats women’s basketball team got back into the win column last evening, pulling past the Memphis Tigers 73-62.
Cincinnati (4-12, 3-9 AAC) trailed by one, 56-55, enter the final frame against the hometown Tigers (4-9, 2-6 AAC). A fourth quarter rally which amounted to an 18-6 Bearcats run helped Cincinnati earn its third conference win.
IImar’i Thomas paced the Bearcats, posting 23 points and dishing out a career-high 7 assists in a full 40 minutes of action.
