Yesterday was a rough day for the Cincinnati Bearcats women’s basketball team.
Cincinnati fell to 2-7 overall and 1-4 in the American after falling apart in the second half at home against Tulane.
After holding court against the Green Wave throughout the first half, Cincinnati faded down the stretch and lost by a 19-point margin, 68-49.
Cincinnati, shorthanded with a couple of injuries in their backcourt, hung tight 13-13 through one quarter and was down by just 2 at the half (28-26).
The fourth period was a bad one for Cincinnati, as the club had trouble getting anything to fall from the floor.
