The Cincinnati Bearcats women’s basketball team hung tough early on against an athletic and opportunistic Florida Gators team
The Bearcats (1-1) faded late, getting doubled up 26-13 in the fourth quarter. When all was told, Florida (3-1) bested the Bearcats by an 81-58 mark.
Florida’s greater in-game experience this season was demonstrated by the relatively error free basketball they played all afternoon at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center in Gainesville, Florida.
Cincinnati turned the ball over 24 times to Florida’s 10. Florida (7-20) outshot Cincinnati (3-13) at the perimeter. The Gators (16-21) outshot the Bearcats (7-13) on the foul line.
