STORRS, Conn. – Gary Clark was being interviewed after the University of Cincinnati drilled Connecticut 67-47 here Sunday afternoon when UC teammate Kyle Washington strolled past and audio-bombed the proceedings.
“That’s a bad man right there!” Washington hollered, as the soft-spoken Clark smiled.
Clark had a double-double before halftime arrived, and he finished with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Clark had 13 points and 10 boards in the first half alone, as the Bearcats routed the depleted Huskies. It was the final regular-season game for both teams.
UC (27-4, 16-2 American Athletic Conference) finished second in the league behind SMU.
