Michael Warren escaped for a 57-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter on Saturday. It was a turning point in the game and helped the Cincinnati Bearcats capture a convincing 35-23 win over the USF Bulls at Nippert Stadium.
The Bearcats (9-1, 5-1 American Athletic Conference) had struggled on offense in the first half. That goes for Warren as well. The team’s leading rusher fought his way to 59 yards in the first half. While that’s a healthy number of yards, he was unable to get any big gains, with a long run of 12 yards.
