This game had everything. A huge comeback. A late goal-line stand. A game-sealing interception. More than 60 points scored. Everything. When the dust finally settled, the Cincinnati Bearcats somehow found themselves on top 34-30, as they overcame the Ohio Bobcats at Nippert Stadium Saturday afternoon.
Things didn’t start off so splendidly. The Bearcats (4-0) spotted the Bobcats (1-2) a 21-0 advantage in the first half as the offense sputtered and the defense failed to keep Ohio quarterback Nathan Rourke from making plays with his arm and legs. That was a theme throughout the afternoon, as Rourke ran for 96 yards and a score while adding 178 yards and a touchdown through the air.
