Luke Fickell was named the American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year on Wednesday, in just his second year as the head coach of the University of Cincinnati Bearcats.
In addition, quarterback Desmond Ridder was named the AAC Rookie of the Year.
Fickell's Bearcats clinched the seventh 10-win season in program history with a 56-6 rout of East Carolina to end their regular season 10-2.
They're awaiting an announcement about a bowl game destination and opponent.
