The Cincinnati Bearcats season finale against the East Carolina Pirates on Saturday, November 28th has been slated for a noon kickoff on CBS Sports Net, the conference announced yesterday during the standard 12-day window.
That’s just how it goes when an unranked 6-4 team is playing an, obviously, unranked 4-6 team near the end of the season. Networks want to air the most intriguing games and ranked teams get the best billing.
There are three AAC games on that Saturday, two of which involve ranked teams; #21 Memphis and #22 Temple. Despite them playing SMU (1-9, hopeless) and UConn (5-5, slightly less hopeless), respectively, ESPN still wants to air games with ranked teams as much as possible regardless of their opponent.
