The Cincinnati Bearcats have added a home-and-home game with the Marshall Thundering Herd from Conference USA. UC will host Marshall in 2017 and make the return trip to Huntington in 2019.
While not the “name” opponent that Cincinnati has scheduled recently, such as UCLA, Nebraska, Pitt, and BYU, Marshall presents a strong opportunity for the Bearcats to add a quality win to their resume.
The Thundering Herd have emerged as the class of Conference USA in the modern divisional era between the Power Five and Group of Five conferences, going 14-2 in the conference over the last two season and taking home a title last year.
