Wednesday night was supposed to be a critical and difficult one for the Cincinnati Bearcats. It turned out to be an easy one instead. Despite facing a UCLA team that was ranked among the top 25 in the country entering the season, the Bearcats had absolutely no trouble in front of their home fans at Fifth Third Arena, vanquishing the Bruins 93-64.

Jarron Cumberland paced the Bearcats (10-2) with 25 points on 9-of-17 shooting, including a blistering 4-for-5 effort from beyond the arc. Three-point shooting has been a difficult spot for the Bearcats all season, but they broke out of the funk against the Bruins, knocking down 12-of-21 from three.
