Cincinnati (25-3, 14-1 American) won their third straight game with a 87-74 victory over Memphis (18-10, 8-7 American) on Thursday. The Bearcats led by as much as 24 points, but the Tigers cut the lead to six points in the second half before Cincinnati eventually pulled away.
Cincinnati got off to a hot start, grabbing a 32-13 lead in the first 12 minutes, led by eight points from Jacob Evans. The Bearcats pushed the lead to 24 points on a Quadri Moore three pointer with 3:44 to play in the first half, before Memphis cut the lead to 51-32 at halftime.
