The American Athletic Conference, the home conference of the Cincinnati Bearcats, has established COVID-19 testing protocols for the 2020 football season.
The conference announced Thursday that all teams will be required to be tested at least 72 hours before each competition.
These orders will be in place for both the regular and bowl seasons, according to the statement from AAC Commissioner Mike Aresco.
The conference said it is also finalizing Olympic sports testing and operational procedures.
Aresco added the conference is committed to meeting the guidelines recommended by the NCAA and its member institutions.
