The AAC is slowly creeping into national consciousness, with three teams still undefeated. Houston and Memphis both moved into one poll each, and Temple is knocking on the door.
Memphis had the week off leading up to this week’s showdown between undefeateds, when #15 Ole Miss makes the 80-minute trek from Oxford to the Liberty bowl. If Memphis wins, it keeps the top spot in these power rankings, and will start to get some big time national recognition (the Tigers are currently 27th in the AP poll, but 22nd in the Coaches’).
