The Bearcats weren’t the only team to go on the road and have trouble with a MAC school this past Saturday. BGSU led Memphis 41-34 early in the fourth quarter before Memphis put together 10 unanswered points on their next two possessions. The Tigers then clung to a 3 point lead for the final 7:35 and got out of Dodge with a narrow victory. Paxton Lynch and the Memphis offense continue to put up ridiculous numbers (541 total yards), but the Tigers were outgained on the day by a Falcons offense that went for 579 yards. The Memphis defense is vulnerable – especially to the pass.
