Temple went down to defeat on Saturday night to fall from the ranks of the undefeated, but Memphis and Houston are still unbeaten and poised for a run at a New Years’ Six Bowl. The first CFB Playoff Committee Rankings are out, and Memphis surged up to #13. Temple sits at #22, with Houston at #25 (although they are #18 in the AP Poll).
The Tigers actually came out of the gate slow and trailed 13-0, but woke up to score 41 unanswered and blow out Tulane at home. Paxton Lynch had another ho-hum 343-yard day, and the Tigers climbed all the way to #13 in the CFP Playoff rankings.
