Finishing strong
Entering the matchup, the Bearcats had lost seven-of-their-last-eight games and hadn't won at home since the season opener against Austin Peay on Aug. 31. Having lost four consecutive home games, which is the most since 1998, the Bearcats got a win that keeps them undefeated against the Huskies at home and dropped the visitors to the bottom of the AAC East Division.
