White Sox's Adam Eaton back after bruised forearm forces him from game

White Sox outfielder Adam Eaton isn't one to leave a game willingly, but he couldn't raise the bat well enough Sunday after getting hit by a pitch on his right forearm against the Mariners.

"I don't like to leave games at all," Eaton said. "It's no offense to anybody else, but if I'm in the game, I want to stay in the game. I don't want to be Wally Pipped."

The arm was swollen but not broken, and Eaton was back in the lineup Monday against the Tigers. Manager Robin Ventura said Eaton has shown he is able to play through pain, and Ventura is willing to let him do that.
