The White Sox are close to a deal to send outfielder Adam Eaton to the Nationals, one day after the Sox started their rebuilding project by parting with ace Chris Sale, according to a major-league source.

Lucas Giolito, Dane Dunning and Reynaldo Lopez would be the return once the deal is official. The prospects are ranked No.
