White Sox starter Lucas Giolito hopes to keep hot streak going Saturday against the Blue Jays

Lucas Giolito has allowed just one earned run in his last two starts for the White Sox.

The right-hander allowed one run on four hits in seven innings May 12 at Toronto. He struck out eight. Giolito also had eight strikeouts while pitching 7 1/3 scoreless innings on May 7 at Cleveland. He allowed three hits.

“He's throwing the ball very well,” Sox manager Rick Renteria said. “He's been showing a lot of confidence and is obviously executing. Hopefully we get that out of Lucas (Saturday).
