DETROIT — The Chicago White Sox reinstated shortstop Tim Anderson from the 10-day injured list Tuesday and placed infielder Leury Garcia on the 10-day IL with a sprained left thumb.
Anderson is 10-for-30 (.333) with four doubles, one home run and one RBI in seven games this season. He is batting leadoff Tuesday against the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park.
