The Chicago White Sox reinstated right fielder Nomar Mazara from the injured list before Monday’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park.
Mazara, one of the team’s offseason additions, went on the injured list July 21 for an undisclosed reason. He had been rehabbing in Schaumburg since July 28.
The Sox announced two more roster moves, optioning catcher Yermin Mercedes to Schaumburg and transferring relief pitcher Jimmy Lambert to the 45-day injured list.
