Michael Kopech hasn't been with the White Sox for long and he's already sporting a new look.
The 20-year-old top prospect, who was acquired in the trade for Chris Sale, posted a picture of himself on Twitter on Wednesday with the caption "chopping it off," referring to what used to be his long blonde hair.
In the picture, it doesn't look like much, but it's a good amount. It's certainly enough to make his comparison to Noah Syndergaard be more about his pitching style than his flow.
Perhaps Kopech is getting ready for the heat at Camelback Ranch for spring training, which begins at the end of the month.
