The White Sox brought up outfielder Charlie Tilson from Triple-A Charlotte and activated right-hander Ryan Burr from the 10-day injured list before Monday night’s series opener against the Indians in Cleveland.
They fill the roster spots vacated when the Sox optioned outfielder Adam Engel and left-hander Caleb Frare to Charlotte after Sunday’s game against the Red Sox. The Sox also transferred right-hander Nate Jones (forearm) from the 10-day to the 60-day IL.
