White Sox pitching prospect Michael Kopech throws 110 mph in drill

For White Sox fans who are still despondent about the Chris Sale trade, this might cheer them up.

Michael Kopech, a starting pitcher whom the team acquired from Boston in the Sale deal, can throw the ball awfully hard. In July, one of his fastballs was clocked at 105 mph in a minor league game.
