Avisail Garcia was back in the White Sox lineup Tuesday against the Giants after a wrist injury and a tooth issue kept him out the last two days.
Garcia had a crown put on a tooth Monday and said it’s fine now, but his bruised right wrist is still a little sore. He planned to test it in the cage Tuesday morning.
Garcia injured the wrist Saturday when he stepped on a ball in the outfield and put too much weight on his wrist when he fell. He was relieved it wasn’t broken.
“I’m going to see how I throw and how I hit,” Garcia said.
