Adam Eaton said he felt like he had been in an “18 mph car accident” without a car Saturday afternoon, but he didn’t regret the play that put him in the pain.
The White Sox outfielder sat out Saturday’s game against the Indians after crashing into the center-field wall at Progressive Field while making a sixth-inning catch Friday. He was walking slowly around the clubhouse Saturday afternoon but could potentially sit out a couple of games with ailments he described as similar to whiplash after hitting his shoulder, hip and back on the wall and bouncing to the ground.
