Davis Martin, 28, made his first appearance since he went on the IL last month due to a right forearm strain. Martin was not exactly on top of his game, as he allowed two runs on three hits in two innings. However, given how well the Knights hit the ball, Martin did not have to perform admirably for Charlotte to win.
The Knights scored one in the first, one in the second, two in the third, and four in the fourth to pull away.
