Aaron McRae wasn’t great in tonight’s doubleheader opener, but don’t hang the L on him. That distinction is reserved for an offense that mustered just three hits and one extra-base hit in seven innings. Natch, the power hit came from leadoff man Billy Hamilton (1-for-2, BB, probably getting a little impatient waiting for September 1). Those on Romy González Watch, fret not, he was 1-for-3 although that tumbles the average down to .409. Demotion? Nik Turley and Jace Fry were awesome out of the pen, both wishing teams could still promote 20 for September, not just two.
