White Sox MiLB Report: Eloy Jimenez Continues Hot Streak

Chicago White Sox second ranked prospect Eloy Jimenez continues to dominate Single-A Advanced pitching as he extended his hitting streak to seven games on Tuesday. Jimenez went 3-for-5 with a double and a home run for Winston-Salem in an 8-7 loss to the Frederick Keys.

The 20-year-old outfielder was acquired from the Cubs as part of a return for starting pitcher Jose Quintana. Since joining the Sox organization, Jimenez is hitting .369/.430/.714 with six home runs, 20 RBIs and an 1.144 OPS. The Sox could certainly promote Jimenez to Double-A before the season is over.
