Chicago White Sox pitching prospect Dylan Cease will likely get promoted to the team in a few months or maybe even weeks. The White Sox starting rotation is still in need of more depth but the front office is doing the right thing in not rushing Cease.
On Wednesday night against the Indianapolis Indians of Triple-A, Cease showcased why he could be ready sooner rather than later. The young right-handed starting pitcher posted a quality start in a losing effort on the road. Cease pitched seven innings while allowing just two earned runs and recording six strikeouts.
