White Sox Lack of Run Support Costs James Shields Against Indians

The Chicago White Sox wasted a phenomenal effort from James Shields. The righty allowed one run on two hits in 5.1 innings of work. Tommy Kahnle allowed the game-winning RBI double to Michael Brantley in the bottom of the 10th inning.

Todd Frazier scored the lone run on a solo home run in the fifth off Carlos Carrasco. Frazier had his first home run and only his third hit of the season in this game.

The big story here is the White Sox again failing to give their starting pitcher run support.
