The Sox came out with the bats swinging and earned six hits before the end of the second inning. They also took a 2-0 lead after a busy inning that saw Matt Davidson and Omar Narvaez cross the plate. By the time the top of the second was over, eight White Sox players had plate appearances.
Adam Engel hit a double that resulted in Davidson scoring. Yolmer Sanchez hit a sac fly to score Narvaez.
