White Sox: Francellis Montas tosses no-hitter vs. Cubs' affiliate

With much of the focus this week being on some of the new players the White Sox are bringing in through the MLB Draft, one current top prospect stole the spotlight in Class-AA Birmingham on Tuesday.

Francellis Montas, the No. 2 prospect in the White Sox organization according to MLB.com, tossed a no-hitter in his outing with the Birmingham Barons. The right-hander went seven innings, giving up just three walks and striking out three. What makes it even sweeter for Montas and the South Siders is that he did it against the Tennessee Smokies, the Double-A affiliate of the Cubs.
