The Chicago White Sox have made a lot of noise over the last month or so which has allowed them to end 2019 on as high of a note as possible.
A 72-89 finish in a season would often look terrible for a team going into their next season looking to contend, but the White Sox record is not indicative of the situation they are in a few months after the 2019 season ended.
Since then, the team has fortified their rotation with the additions of Dallas Keuchel and Gio Gonzalez which will be added to Lucas Giolito, Reynaldo Lopez, and Dylan Cease.
