White Sox DH Matt Davidson throws everyone a curve in his major-league pitching debut

The White Sox designated hitter called his MLB pitching debut as a reliever in the eighth inning "a dream come true."

When Davidson got the call to relieve Juan Minaya in the eighth inning of the White Sox’s 11-3 loss to the Rangers on Friday, it marked the first time he had pitched in a big-league game.

Davidson mixed fastballs, splitters and curves, his go-to pitch at Yucaipa (Calif.
