As a former White Sox season ticket holder, Steve Dahl has been back to Sox Park many times since Disco Demolition Night, his famous radio promotion gone awry.
But Thursday’s trek to the South Side was different. The veteran radio personality was feted before the Sox-Yankees game, which included a T-shirt giveaway commemorating the 40th anniversary of the notorious event, which occurred on July 12, 1979.
