Omar Narvaez said he followed the career of catcher Geovany Soto from the time he first came up in the majors with the Cubs.
So the 25-year-old White Sox catcher is relishing the chance to work alongside the 34-year-old veteran this spring at Camelback Ranch.
“Every time I spend some time with him it makes me a lot better,” Narvaez said. “I saw him when he first came up, and he was one of the catchers I always followed.
“He has been doing a lot for me, especially a lot of mental situations we talk about.
