While trade rumors concerning Jeff Samardzija have become more widespread as the July 31 trade deadline nears, White Sox executive vice president Ken Williams said Friday they're not shopping anyone yet.
"I've heard a lot about (Samardzija) being on the market," Williams said. "We haven't had that discussion about moving anyone just yet. That's because we are still trying to hold true to the idea that what we put together in the offseason was not just built for this year but would also have a carryover effect and serve as the foundation for the next couple of years as well.
