CHICAGO — The Chicago White Sox have announced their player development staff and assignments for the 2024 season under Paul Janish, director of player development. Janish, who was named to his current role on November 2, 2023, enters his first year overseeing the organization’s minor-league operations and player development system.
Justin Jirschele (Class AAA Charlotte), Sergio Santos (Class AA Birmingham), Guillermo Quiroz (Class A Winston-Salem), Patrick Leyland (Class A Kannapolis) and Danny González (Arizona Complex League Sox) will serve as the organization’s managers in 2024. Jirschele, Quiroz, Leyland and González all return to their managerial posts following the 2023 season.
