White Sox 2019 MLB draft picks: 7 pitchers added in first 2 days

In a year that Nick Hostetler, the White Sox director of amateur scouting, called the weakest crop of college pitchers he has seen in a long time, the Sox still loaded up on pitching.

After Day 2 of the MLB amateur draft, five of the seven pitchers the Sox drafted came from the college ranks, though none was taken higher than the fifth round.
