Yoan Moncada arrived to the White Sox via trade with a lot of fanfare. At the time, Moncada was the top-ranked prospect in baseball although he struggled in his brief major league stint with the Boston Red Sox.
After having a decent stint with the White Sox during the 2017 season, Moncada entered his first full major league season in 2018. Moncada would struggle mightily last season and nearly set the single-season strikeout record at the plate.
Entering the 2019 season, Moncada has the opportunity to have a much better year than he did in 2018.
