Kodi Medeiros was one of two pitching prospects acquired in Thursday's trade that sent Joakim Soria to the Milwaukee Brewers, the higher-rated of the pair, which also included 20-year-old Wilber Perez.
Medeiros was a first-round pick back in 2014, the 12th player selected in that year's draft and the highest-selected Hawaiian high schooler ever. Prior to Thursday's deal, he ranked as a top-15 prospect in the Brewers' system.
