The Chicago White Sox don’t have to announce their postseason roster for another week, so there’s still time for Dallas Keuchel to make a final push.
Keuchel seems to be the odd man out after a disappointing 2021 season, but he’ll start Monday in the makeup of the postponed game against the Detroit Tigers.
Meanwhile, Carlos Rodón’s bullpen session Sunday was so-so, according to manager Tony La Russa, making his postseason status uncertain as well.
“It was just OK,” La Russa said Monday on a Zoom from Detroit. “But I’ve been talking to him and he says he can take the ball Wednesday.
