Whacky sequence in the 5th inning doesn’t go the Chicago White Sox’s way in a 6-1 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers, their 3rd straight defeat

Leury García hit a swinging bunt between the mound and plate. Brewers starter Corbin Burnes picked up the ball, and his off-balance throw was wide of home. Yoán Moncada scored — or so it appeared.

Burnes allowed one run in the fifth, but the Brewers avoided a big inning on the way to a 6-1 victory in front of a sellout crowd of 41,686 at American Family Field.

Brewers first baseman Rowdy Tellez tosses his bat after hitting a solo home run during the sixth inning against the White Sox on Saturday in Milwaukee. Tellez hit a pair of homers in the Brewers' 6-1 win.
