The White Sox offense will try to keep its momentum going Wednesday afternoon after topping the Angels 5-0 Tuesday night at U.S. Cellular Field.
Sox shortstop Jimmy Rollins and designated hitter Avisail Garcia have the day off as the Sox face Angels right-hander Garrett Richards.
Sox left-hander Chris Sale takes the mound with a 3-0 record and a 2.35 ERA. Richards is 0-2 with a 3.57 ERA. Sale has started 4-0 just once in his career, in 2014, when he reached 5-0 before his first loss.
The Sox won Tuesday behind a solid outing from starter Mat Latos, early homers from Todd Frazier and Jose Abreu and a late surge on offense.
