Thursday's recap: White Sox 4, Diamondbacks 2

Matt Davidson was 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs to lead the White Sox to a 4-2 victory over the Diamondbacks on Thursday at Camelback Ranch. Chris Owings hit a solo homer for the only run in four innings against Sox starter Lucas Giolito.

At the plate: Catcher Kevan Smith was 2-for-3 with his first homer of the spring.

On the mound: Reliever Jake Petricka allowed a solo homer to Jake Lamb during his 1 2/3 innings.

Key number: 2 — Strikeouts in one inning for pitching prospect Zack Burdi, who has yet to give up a run in 5 1/3 innings.
